Christine Nyirady
Born in Innsbruck/Tyrol. Study for song and piano in the Tyrolean of land konservatorium of the city of Innsbruck. School-leaving exam in Innsbruck HBL. Afterwards advanced training in graphic arts and photograph in Zurich. Studies with Prof. Joana Steinlechner-Bichler and
Reny Lohner-Vienna. Summer spot weeks with Milan Wirth in Greece.
1968 there originate the first photo collages, wooden board pictures object pictures and text pictures – Bildtexte.
From 1970 she devoted herself to the artistic work on and with paper.
In 1972 the first meeting with the world-famous Berlin painter Prof. Hannah Höch. This remains from 1972 to 1977 an artistic mentor of Christine Nyirady.
1978 She moved to Vienna where she lives and works. Christine Nyirady has become
known in the early 70s years already with her collages.
In 1980 on the Int. European art fair „Art Basel “.
1986 in the encyclopaedia „The famoust Austrian painters of 20th Century. “ from Prof. Dr. Heinrich Fuchs, Vienna volume III R-Z 1.
1st Prizewinner in the calendar competition: 75 years GESIBA-Vienna in 1996.
1st Prizewinner in the artist's competition „Autoren and artist in the Semmering “ for painting in 1998, as well as other prices in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002
1st public Prizewinner EUREGIO art fair Lake of Constance in 2008
